Desmond Elliot Apologizes To Nigerians for Calling Nigerian Youths Children _Ada Nkong

Following the backlash that followed his calling Nigerian youths children while pushing a bill for regulation of social media at Lagos state house of assembly, Nollywood actor and politician, Desmond Elliot, has taken to social media to tender an apology to Nigerians ,saying he let his emotions get the better of him.
Social media has been awash with a video of the lawmaker reacting to the recent looting and destruction of property in Lagos during a plenary session at the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Elliot had said in the video that he didn’t believe ‘children’ on social media could be bold enough to curse and insult their leaders following the Lekki shooting incident on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Celebrities and fans alike had condemned strongly his comments as they expressed their outrage on twitter.
The actor turned law maker said he has realized his mistakes and promised to be more aware.
