Protest against Police brutality and the high handed operations of the Federal Special Anti-robbery Squad (F- SARS) have continued to spread across the country.
Port Harcourt, Ibadan and Enugu are among states that experienced protests on Tuesday.
In Portharcourt, protesters. Assembled at pleasure park and proceeded to march on the major streets defying the orders of Governor Nyesom Wike on Monday prohibiting all forms of protests in the state.
Enugu witnessed it’s first march since the campaign against police brutality started with police officers offering protection to protesters who were on their way to the government house and state police command to register their complaints. They were joined by music artistes Flavour, Phyno and Zoro.
The Inspector General of police IGP had earlier announced the dissolution of the FSARS after protests rocked the country.
Protesters are demanding among other things psychological evaluation and retraining of all disbanded SARS before their redeployment.
