Nigeria seems to be succeeding in flattening the curve as number of cases continue to reduce with the NCDC announcing 373 fresh cases for 13 August 2020.
While Lagos remains at the top of the list with 69 cases, Osun follows with 41 cases while Kaduna and Oyo have 40 cases and the FCT 35.
Borno, Bauchi and Nasarawa have one case each. Considering the proximity of Nasarawa to the FCT with a lot of workers in the FCT living in Nasarawa state, one would expect community transmission to cause more cases in the state.
The total number of cases confirmed so far are 48116 , 34309 cases have been confirmed while 966 Deaths have been recorded.
