Former President, Goodluck Jonathan ,has thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for naming Agbor train station after him.
Goodluck Jonathan rendered his appreciation at the State House, when he visited the President on Tuesday.
Minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi had announced on Saturday, July 18, 2020, that the largest train station on the Warri-Itakpe rail corridor— Agbor Complex was named after Goodluck Jonathan.
Special Assistant to President Buhari on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi in a tweet on Tuesday, announced the visit by the former President.
Jonathan, described the President’s move as a good gesture.
“Let me use this opportunity to commend Mr. President publicly… It’s a good gesture, it shows that the President is going on with the legacy projects of previous administrations and that is the way to go.
“I appreciate it. I thank Mr President and the Minister of Transportation and others that made it possible”.
