NNPC Cooperative Society Elections Declared Inconclusive_Ada Nkong

The office of the NNPC Cooperative Society has declared its election conducted on 30th June inconclusive.

This follows the inability of about 4000 of its members to access the codes generated for the online elections by NIG-COMSAT.

The Society had earlier decided on an online election because of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Speajing on the outcome of the election, the DG Consolidation team Engr Egan Ben Koko said not only could she not vote but 3 contestants Waribo Cooley, Ujah Samuel and Omoke Emmanuel could not access codes.

Also speaking, Presidential contender of the consolidation team, Terhemba King- Anyam said disenfranchising 4,000 members is undemocratic and unacceptable. He called for outright cancellation of the election.
