Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has made moves to reconcile with Yemi Alade 3 years after they fell out
The rapper had reportedly not showed up for a music video shoot he had with Alade and she called him out for being unprofessional
Sarkordie has now taken to Twitter to ask his fans to make Yemi Alade follow him back as they move on with positivity
Yemi Alade responded and they seem to be on better terms now
Wherever there are human beings, there is bound to be disagreement from time to time. Sometimes these issues never get resolved but other times, both parties can decide to move on with positivity after admitting their mistakes.
Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie, had reportedly gotten into Yemi Alade’s bad books after he is said to have failed to show up for a music video shoot they both had for their song.
In 2017, Yemi Alade said Sarkodie was very unprofessional for not honouring their agreement by showing up for the shoot.
In an interview granted at the time, Yemi Alade reportedly said:
“I’ve really tried my best to really not go into details but the long and short on why I don’t want to dwell on this is that is super unfair, unprofessional and unkind for international acts or even artistes to have a dealing with anybody and after agreeing to certain things, you don’t come through at all.
“I can count three different countries and three different venues where my team and I had an agreement with the artiste (Sarkodie) in particular and he didn’t come through.
I don’t want to bring in the feminine and masculine inequality we’re experiencing in the industry and I don’t want to link it to that. I was pained as a person but I’ll say it is almost impossible to promote a project that is supposed to be for two people when the other party isn’t coming through at all, the music pretty much suffers.”
Well, in a new move to make things better between them, Sarkodie recently took to Twitter to speak on how it seems Yemi Alade has unfollowed him on the microblogging site.
The rapper told his fans to beg her for a follow back and added that he is proud of her and that year 2020 is for link ups.
He wrote: “Ou just realized queen unfollowed me… SarkNation tell my sis to follow me back n I’m sorry . No need for no explanations it’s 2020 Link up always proud of you
